'Art at the Heart' at Bath's RUH
1 October 2019 - 15 June 2020

Bath Open Studios is proud to represent and promote all art and craft makers residing in the city. While fostering a greater awareness of the individual artist and allowing for each Trail to retain its particular style, BOS is committed to supporting their practice and to raising the profile of art trails as a recognised outlet for the presentation of art and craft.

Bath Open Studios isn't only about the individual Trails. We also are pleased to hold an annual exhibitions at the Royal United Hospital's 'Art at the Heart' - which is an award winning art and design programme that stimulates healing and well-being and creates an uplifting environment for the hospital's patients, visitors and staff. Artists and makers from all five Bath Art Trails show their works in the Central Gallery at the RUH. Paintings, prints, photographs, ceramics and mosaic are put on show and, with a third of all sales going towards the 'Art at the Heart' programme, it's a great opportunity not only to buy something unique and locally made but also to support the vital works of 'Art at the Heart'. Showing a selection in the hospital corridors is an exciting taste of the works which are created and available during the weekends of May, June and September each year.
