About the Batheaston Art Trail
Artists in and near Batheaston opened their studio doors for the first time in 2021, offering an event for visitors and residents of all ages, to inspire the artist in all of us by showcasing the amazing talent they have living in the village. Entry to the trail is free, and a colourful brochure and map is provided to help visitors find their way from one exhibition venue to another. Many of the artists display their work in their own studios and workspaces, giving an insight into the making process. The art trail also includes local venues, such as the Primary School for an interactive event as part of The Big Draw Festival which is a worldwide celebration of drawing, to promote the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression, and invention.
